How it's scored: two AI models work together. DeepSeek is tuned to judge GRE essays, it scores yours and writes the feedback. Cloudflare's Clef model gives a second, independent score, and the score you see is the average of the two, a bit like the real GRE combines a human rater with a computer score. Clef also double-checks that what you sent really is an essay on the topic. It's an estimate, not an official score.
